You’ve got male

As she opened up the email, Jessica’s mouth dropped open. Looking through the glass of her office door, she nodded at her Financial Director and former school friend, Pam Forsyth.

Pam smiled then reached for her phone as a call came in.

Three is a crowdJess returned to the email and clicked through the slideshow; twelve photographs of her boyfriend, Simon, in various compromising positions. It wasn’t until the seventh that her mouth changed to a grin; the photo containing Simon, his best man, Tony, and Tony’s wife Zoë. Jess had never been keen on “Zoë with two dots”, friend to the celebs or not, and never trusted someone so pure macrobiotic this, cleansing and healing that.

Armed with the photos, thanks to Pam’s private investigator brother-in-law, Jess would take the shirt off Simon’s back just as Zoë had done in pictures seven and eight.

A knock at the door startled Jess and she looked up. “Hi, Pam.”

“No need to ask you what you think.”

“How did he get these?”

“Wouldn’t tell me if I asked. Just says he has his sources.”

“Tell him that I’ll gladly pay him double what he asked for.”

“Are you sure?”

“Absolutely. I’m planning on proposing to Simon this weekend. And there was I thinking our sex life would be dull.”
